Folk remedies are one of the most favorable options for the treatment of alcoholism. Their effectiveness has been proven in many real-life examples, including those cases where traditional medicine does not give the desired results.
Consider the most effective folk remedies used for drunkenness.
Čemerichnaya voda
To treat chronic alcoholism, people widely use corn (also called puppet).
Pour a tablespoon of crushed root of the plant with half a glass of boiling water, after an hour strain thoroughly, add boiling water to the original volume (up to half a glass). Store the cooled infusion in the refrigerator. Add half a drop to half a liter of vodka, shake well and give to drink. After that, the patient will start vomiting. Thus, in a fairly short time, the craving for drunkenness disappears and aversion to alcoholic beverages generally develops. Chemernic water can be added to food and drinks (tea, compote): five drops three times a day.
Castor oil
A very dubious method, once used by doctors. It consisted in the fact that castor oil (literally a horse dose) was poured into the throat of a "sick person". There is no evidence that castor oil is a cure for drunkenness. Apparently, the effect of castor oil was based on the fact that efforts to curb its laxative effects cleared the patient's mind.
Honey
The use of honey in the treatment of alcohol dependence is based on the fact that, according to folk medicine, the attractiveness of vodka develops due to lack of potassium in the body. The use of honey only compensates for this deficiency, so the desire to drink gradually decreases.
An hour, every twenty minutes, the patient is given six teaspoons of honey (in just one hour, so 18 teaspoons), then a break of two hours, and the procedure is repeated. In the following days, give six teaspoons of honey before and after breakfast. Honey treatment is carried out within 3-4 days. Alcohol rejection occurs. Although not clinically proven, it is obvious that this method maintains and strengthens health - and thus frees from "alcoholic slavery".
In addition to honey itself, a beekeeping product such as bee bread (bee bread) is used in alternative medicine to treat addiction. A mixture of a teaspoon of bee bread and a teaspoon of honey is taken half an hour before a meal (do not swallow, hold on the tongue and gradually dissolve). Admission is repeated three times a day, the effect is noticeable on the second or third day of treatment. For prevention, the treatment is repeated three times a week. This method reduces the risk of mental trauma when giving up alcohol, improves blood circulation in the brain, helps cleanse the liver of toxins and leads to giving up alcohol.
The initial stage of alcoholism is treated by bee stings: fifteen live medicinal bees are placed on the body, gently pressing them down, and after five minutes the stings are removed. The bites appear painful only at the beginning of treatment. This method is not suitable for allergy sufferers.
Clefthoof
Cleft (European cleft, another name for hernia) is used in the treatment of alcoholism in the form of decoction. It is prepared as follows: pour a teaspoon of hernia root into a glass of hot boiling water, cook for five minutes on low heat, close the lid and leave for another hour. Add the infusion to vodka per tablespoon per 100 g of alcohol or take a tablespoon daily. Due to the toxic nature of the cleavage, it causes vomiting. Treatment is carried out until a permanent aversion to alcohol is created.
Receiving such a decoction is contraindicated in patients with angina pectoris, as well as in pregnant women.
There is also such a form of taking the cleft, as adding the plant powder to the coffee (add a quarter of a teaspoon of the cleft powder to fifty grams of coffee, repeat after a few days). The effect is the same: vomiting occurs when consuming alcohol and eventually there is complete disgust towards alcohol.
Thyme
Thyme (also known as thyme, also known as creeper) has long been used in the treatment of alcoholism, including in herbal teas and herbal preparations. For example, mix 4 parts thyme, 1 part centaury and 1 part wormwood. A spoonful of this collection is poured over a glass of boiling water, insist for an hour, filtered and taken 1-2 tablespoons twenty minutes before eating.
Thyme helps alleviate alcohol intoxication, causes sobriety, and then complete healing.
Another herbal recipe for treating alcoholism includes yarrow (St. John’s wort), bitter wormwood, thyme, angelica, peppermint, and juniper. The mixture of herbs (spoon) is poured over a liter of boiling water and infused for ten minutes. After drinking this tea, kidney function and sweating increase, tremor stops, and the breakdown products of alcohol are naturally excreted from the body. A similar herbal tea is prepared from a mixture of thyme, horsetail, purple herbs, juniper berries, cyanosis root. Herbal teas are mild drinking treatments.
Fungus from fertilizer
The beetle mushroom is a unique, time-tested, medicinal drink that allows you to get rid of drunkenness. Mushrooms are prepared in the traditional way: boiled, fried, stewed, baked. They taste like mushrooms and are not suspicious. When the fungus enters the body, the breakdown of alcohol in the blood slows down and severe intoxication begins. Over time, after a few "sessions", there is a constant aversion to alcohol.
Soda
Baking soda is not used as a medicine, but rather as a way to alleviate, alleviate symptoms and eliminate alcohol intoxication. For 180 ml of warm water you need to take a teaspoon (without a slice) of baking soda and drink it. Depending on the degree of poisoning, up to one liter of such a solution may be needed to flush and completely cleanse the body of toxins. Vomiting after drinking the solution will prevent the absorption of toxins into the bloodstream and the condition will improve. Under the influence of carbon dioxide in the stomach, the production of gastric juice will be accelerated, which will also help neutralize toxins.
Laurel leaf
Bay leaf is widely known as a drug that reliably treats alcoholism. Two bay leaves are infused in 250 ml of vodka in a warm place for two weeks (for efficiency, you can add bay leaf or lovage root); then take 2-3 tablespoons before meals. Laurel tincture causes indigestion and vomiting, which forever discourages the alcoholic from drinking. Admission course: daily 7-10 days.
There are several other recipes that use bay leaf. So, 12 grams of lavrushka should be steamed with boiling water (one and a half cup), bring to a boil, cook for 10-15 minutes. Drink the soup during the day.
Baranets
Aries (this is another name for a beak-shaped lyre) is a low-growing shrub found in our forests. This herb has long been used in the treatment of alcoholics. Sprigs of ram in the amount of 10 g pour a glass of boiling water and cook for 15 minutes on low heat. The soup is used in the amount of two tablespoons at the same time with alcohol. Taking the soup causes nausea and vomiting, after 3-4 receptions there is a constant decrease in cravings for alcohol.
A prerequisite for treatment with a decoction of ram is a break in drinking alcohol for at least 4 days. Since the plant is poisonous, the dosage must be strictly adhered to. In addition, the plant is contraindicated in thyroid disease, diabetes, hypertension, pulmonary tuberculosis, bronchial asthma, gastric ulcer.
When treating folk remedies should be borne in mind that, even if there are numerous positive reviews, the herb is not at all harmless, it can have side effects and contraindications. And, if you really decide to treat at home, you must take into account the patient's health condition, the risk of neuropathy and the tendency to allergies. The main thing is not to hurt! We advise you to seek advice from a narcologist.
